I have found that even the smallest of shopping centres have politics that need to be dealt with and that sometimes the best thing is to take a step back and let things run their course, plus there are plenty of other things that need to be done in the mean time.My roles have changed a little given the incidences that have taken place with regards to the shopping centre that I was to be working with and their advertising company. These changes have given me opportunity to update some of the media plans and put together new ones for next year. This involved organising a folder of all the campaigns run last year, a bit of editing (not exactly my strong suit but I try) and booking in some activities for shopping centres for later on in the year. To do this I was able to liaise with our advertising man and Schitech as well as tie up some loose ends.
Part of my day also involved calling all of the shops within a shopping centre to make sure that the contact details that will be listed in the advertising would be correct.
I have found my days interesting and have gotten quite a lot out of them. I hope that I am helping as much as I'd like to. I look forward to my next adventure with Lease Equity.
